Question 1

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Syncwork is free for a single seat and one workspace, with no time limit. Upgrade when you need a team, invoicing, or deeper reporting.

Question 2

Is there a limit on projects or clients on Free?

Accepted Answer

No. Free includes unlimited projects, clients, tags, and tasks. The only cap is 1 seat and 1 workspace.

Question 3

Does the Free plan include invoicing?

Accepted Answer

No. Invoicing is a Premium feature. Free covers unlimited time tracking, projects, and clients, but sending invoices requires upgrading.

Question 4

How is my subscription price calculated?

Accepted Answer

Premium is billed per seat: $5.99/mo per member billed monthly, or $4.79/mo per member billed yearly (20% off). Add or remove members anytime from billing settings and your bill adjusts with your team size.

Question 5

Who processes my payment, and is it secure?

Accepted Answer

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo appears on your bank or card statement. We never see or store your card details; Dodo handles PCI compliance and fraud protection. Cards and digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported where available.

Question 6

Are taxes included in the subscription price?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All listed rates are tax-inclusive. You're charged in your local currency at checkout depending on your card and region, with no hidden processing fees or add-ons.

Question 7

What happens to unused time if I switch from yearly to monthly?

Accepted Answer

You don't lose it. The unused portion of your yearly payment becomes credit on your account and is automatically applied to your future monthly invoices until it runs out. You won't be charged again until that credit is used up.

Question 8

Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, switch anytime from billing settings. Moving to yearly applies the 20% discount on your next invoice.

Question 9

What happens if I remove a team member?

Accepted Answer

Removing someone from your workspace doesn't change your bill on its own. Go to billing settings and adjust your seat count there — it takes one click.

Question 10

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes, cancel directly from billing settings, no need to contact anyone. Premium stays active until the end of your current billing period, then your workspace moves to Free.

Question 11

What happens to my data if I downgrade or cancel?

Accepted Answer

Nothing gets deleted. Your projects, invoices, and reports stay exactly as they are; you'll just lose access to Premium-only features like invoicing and team reporting until you upgrade again.

Question 12

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Premium comes with a 14-day free trial, so you can test everything before paying. If something's not working for you after that, reach out to us or email support@syncwork.app.
